About the Job

Daor Design builds brands for small businesses. Over the past 10 years, we have helped nearly 500 small businesses build brands they’re proud of that attract quality clients.  Our services include logo design, website design, and marketing. We are based in the Texas hill country, but our distributed team serves small businesses across the United States. Each role within our small business is mission critical,  and we maintain high performance expectations of each team member.

Manage client projects and relationships in a way that reinforces Daor Design as the best branding team in the country for small businesses.

  • Manage incoming project requests from existing clients
  • Onboard new clients and manage their projects from start to finish
  • Meet in-person with local, Boerne or San Antonio clients as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both local and remote clients
  • Manage client relationships in line with their long-term best interests
  • Clarify and translate client requests into actionable steps for the team
  • Delegate and manage project tasks toward meaningful progress
  • Communicate regularly with clients on their project status and next steps
  • Effectively manage projects for completion on time and on budget
  • Review all work to ensure quality control before presenting to clients
  • Document project hiccups for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Present new ideas to refine client experience and boost client success
  • Actively participate in regular team video meetings
  • Stay well-informed of best practices and ways to exceed client expectations
  • Assist the team with administrative and design tasks on projects as time allows

  • Located in Boerne or San Antonio, Texas
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, design, communication, or a related field preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Process-oriented approach to project management
  • Productive relationship builder with a remote team and clients
  • Excellent customer service proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent time and priority management skills

Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated interest in small business, branding and/or marketing.  The right candidate will embrace a steep learning curve with extensive hands-on training alongside our Senior Project Manager for the first several months. Training is available for the right candidate who may not be proficient in each of these programs:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • G-Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet)
  • Social Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)
  • WordPress
  • Mailchimp

The Project Manager role is set up as follows:

  • Full-time
  • Remote Work
  • Regular business hours
  • Highly interactive with the team and clients

  • Company closure the last week of the year (limited work as needed)
  • Opportunities to earn flexibility for personal events, regular performance incentives and company revenue sharing at the discretion of the owners

There will be an initial evaluation period of up to 90 days to assess the alignment between you, the team, and the clients. Orientation and regular owner-feedback will be provided during this window to ensure you are well equipped for the role.
